The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 2006

The Perkins III act was signed into law on August 12, 2006 to promote vocational education within secondary and post secondary schools. The law, administered by the Department of Education, allocates funding to the state level. Each state distributes its Perkins allocation as set forth by its governing laws, but in all cases use of those funds must meet the criteria set forth in the Perkins law.

Whether you are an advisor with DECA, FBLA, BPA, FCCLA, or a teacher of a vocational curriculum, you will be glad to know that all of the Virtual Business products qualify for funding in accordance with Section 135 of the Perkins III law.

We encourage you to explore the document below on the Perkins III act, and then apply for funding for Virtual Business under your school district’s process. We guarantee that it will be well worth it!
